Raymond Edward Moser, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Moser, was born Oct. 13, 1916, and died at the River View hospital in Guttenberg on Sept. 28, 1950, at the age of 33 years, 11 months and 15 days.

He was united in marriage to Gladys Willie on December 28, 1939, at Garber, Iowa, by the Rev. Schrupp. Four children were born to them and all survive their father in death, Yvonne, 10 years of age, Charlene, 7, Elaine, 4, and Ronnie, 2.

Mr. Moser spent his life farming. He had been in failing health for the past five years and for the past two months was confined to bed. He was afflicted with dropsy and a heart ailment.

Survivors are: his wife, the afore-named children, his parents Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Moser of Guttenberg, and his grandmother Mrs. Caroline Moser. Also the following seven brothers, Arthur, James, Lester and Ira Moser of Osterdock, Iowa, Harry of Garnavillo, and Lloyd and Richard of Guttenberg.

Services were held at the Tuecke funeral home at Guttenberg at one o'clock Saturday, Sept. 30, and at St. John's church, Garber, at two o'clock. Burial was in the Mt. Harmony cemetery in Elk township. The Rev. P. Kitterer of Elkader officiated.
