Clayton Conty Register, 29 July 1942.

STRAWBERRY POINT: A short prayer service was held at the George W. Barr home, Sunday afternoon, July 19th, for their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Paul Barr, 39, who had succumbed at Kansas City, Thursday, following an illness of pneumonia. The Rev. Glenn E. Hartong, pastor of the Methodist church, conducted the service. Burial was in the Strawberry Point cemetery. Mrs. Barr was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. George Miller of Sanborn, Ia. She was married to Paul Barr at Mount Vernon in 1924. Surviving are the husband and two children, Donald and Patty.
