Clayton County Register, 29 July 1942.
LUANA: Friends and neighbors were sorry to learn Monday morning that Ed. W. Radach had died about midnight at the Postville hospital.
He had been in very poor health for several months, was taken to the hospital about Sunday. He was 59 years of age and has conducted a store here for about 20 years. He leaves to mourn his widow and two grandchildren, Janice and Gary Radach and a host of friends.
The funeral was Wednesday afternoon from St. John's Lutheran church.
