Funeral services were held for Edward Henry Krieg at the St. John's Lutheran church at Garber at two o'clock Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Mr. Coovert of Guttenberg officiating. Burial was made in the Musfeldt cemetery near Elkport.

Edward Krieg died of a heart attack at seven o'clock, Wednesday evening, April 01, at the St. Joseph's sanitarium in Dubuque following an illness of two weeks. He was born on a farm near Elkport, the son of Fred and Mary Krieg. He reached the age of 52 years, seven months and 23 days. For many years he had been emploed as a farm hand in the Dubuqueland territory.

He is survived by two brothers, Orlando of Elkport and Lawrence of Cedar Rapids. His parents preceded him in death many years ago.

Pallbearers were Fred Schrader, Charles Plagman, Henry Ortman, Harvey Boehm, Rudolph Jaster and Mr. Tuecke.
