William Rollinson, 85, passed away at Long Beach, Calif., March 20. He resided in Postville several years ago.

Mr. Rollinson was born in England July 07, 1857. He was one of the children born to Robert and Rebecca Rollinson. In 1864 the family came to America and settled on a farm near Monona. He was married in Monona to Hulda Oliver September 1_, 1878. There were three children, Mrs. May Sandy and Robert Rollinson who with their mother preceded him in death and Mrs. Bradford Seybert who lives in Postville. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Jane R. Hulme of Des Moines, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Methodist church in Postville, where he lived twenty years. In 1908 he moved to Mitchell, South Dakota, where he made his home. He was a railroad man for 55 years. He had spent the past several winters in California.

Funeral services will be held here when the body arrives, the Rev. L. H. Newhouse officiating and burial will be made in Monona.
