MONONA:

Herman Kuester.

Funeral services for Herman Kiester, aged 78, were held from the Kiester home to the Pilgrim Evangelical church Thursday afternoon, with the Rev. Harvey W. Raduege officiating and burial was made in the Council Hill cemetery. Mr. Kiester had been in town Monday afternoon with his niece Mrs. Minnie Elet and died of a heart attack late Monday afternoon.

Surviving him are one brother, Ferdinand Kiester. His faithful niece Mrs. Minnie Sieg Elet lived with him. He enjoyed life with Mr. and Mrs. Elet. The sympathy of the community is extended the bereaved in their loss.
