MONONA: Funeral services for William Oliver, aged 79, were held from the home at one o'clock Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the city cemetery. Mr. Oliver had worked for the Milwaukee railroad the greater part of his life, retiring a few years ago. He was section foreman for many years. His widow, the former Minnie Randall preceded him in death. Surviving him are his eight children, Clarence and William Oliver Jr., in Dubuque, Jessie (Mrs. Francis Campbell) of Monona, Robert Oliver of Monona, Winnie (Mrs. Ralph Smith) of Rockford, Ill., Gladys (Mrs. William F. Sautter) of Froelich and Stella (Mrs. George C. Balekos) of Monona. Seventeen grandchildren survive him. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Frank R. Bothel of Monona.
