Funeral services for Alexander Killen, aged 85, were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the Killen home in Decorah, in charge of the Masonic lodge and the Rev. F, H. Weed, pastor of the Decorah Methodist church. Burial was in the Monona city cemetery.
Mr. Killen died Thursday following a several months' illness.
He was born Jan. 23, 1857, near Monona, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Killen. He was married to Catherine Webster Neilings, who with one daughter survives him. The family lived in Monona until about 1924 when they moved to Cedar Falls and in 1929 moved to Decorah.
Surviving him are the widow and one daughter, Mrs. B. B. Amundson and several grandchildren.
