Mrs. Anna Regina Fredrick, 78, died at her home here Friday, after being bedfast the past year.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mueller, she was born April 05, 1867 in Germany, and came to America at the age of 1_ (looks like 13 or 18). On Oct. 23, 1884, she was married to Charles Fredrick. They farmed in this community until retiring to Strawberry Point in 1912. Mr. Fredrick died Dec. 12, 1939.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Otto Baumgartner, a son, John Fredrick, both of Strawberry Point; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anton Kleinlein of Cedar Rapids, Two sons, Will and Albert, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Emanuel Lutheran church, conducted by her pastor, the Rev. S. J. Meyer. Six nephews were casket bearers: Louie, George, Walter and Elmer Fredrick, Ben and Karl Kleinlein. Burial was in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
