Charles Loren Sauerbry, 69, died at his home Friday.

Son of Christian and Louise Sauerbry, he was born Sept. 27, 1876, at Strawberry Point. On March 01, 1899, he was married to Ella Stalnaker. They farmed in this community.

Survivors include the widow, two sons, Dean and Dale of Strawberry Point, a niece, Ellen Stalnaker, who makes her home with them, five brothers, James of Strawberry Point, Frank of Arlington, George of Oelwein, Ralph of Illyria, Ohio, and Edward of Bremerton, Wash.; five sisters: Mrs. Oren Pugh of Strawberry Point, Mrs. Bert Smith of Fayette, Mrs. Lloyd Allfee of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Vincent Bodman of Whittier, Calif. and Mrs. Arnold Beguhn of Kansas City, Mo.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Gill Funeral chapel by the Rev. E. P. Hignett of Arlington. Burial was in Strawberry Point cemetery.
