Clayton County Register, 20 Sept. 1945.

Arno Storbeck, middle aged farmer, hanged himself Tuesday on his farm four miles northeast of Strawberry Point. Mrs. Storbeck discovered her husband's body in the corn crib where he had hanged himself using baling wire. Recently Storbeck had been moody and depressed.

Surviving him are his wife, formerly Carol Hamlin; father, August Storbeck; sister, Mrs. Ernest Fridley, and brother, Eldo Storbeck, all of Strawberry Point.
