Mrs. Gus Hader of Highland township died Friday, June 15, at the University hospital in Iowa City.
Annie Aamot, daughter of Sever and Ingeborg Aamot, was born in Highland township, Jan. 16, 1881. She was baptized and confirmed in the Marion Lutheran church in Gunder and later joined the Highland Lutheran church. With the exception of four years spent near Hillsboro, N. Dak., she had lived in Highland township all her life.
She was married to Gus Hader in March, 1905.
Survivors are her husband, two sons, Royce of Dundee and John of Elgin; daughters, Mrs. Charles Erickson of Elgin; Mrs. Byron Yauslin of Clermont, Mrs. Orville Frieden of Elkader; four step-children: Charles Hader of Elgin, Albert Hader of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Mabel Holmquist of Buffalo, Minn., and Ida Hader, Minneapolis, Minn.; sisters: Mrs. C. M. Wilson and Mrs. Alex Pagan of Elgin, Mrs. Alex Asher of Los Angeles, Calif.; and one brother, John Aamot of Elkader. There are 19 grandchildren. One daughter, Sibyl, died in February 1919 at the age of five.
Services were held Monday at 1 o'clock from the Witt funeral chapel and at 2 o'clock at the Highland Lutheran church. The Rev. A. O. Nesset, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Pallbearers were: W. F. Page, Millard Olson, O. H. Larson, H. R. Larson, Louie Gregerson and Selmer Holm.
