Funeral services for George E. White, 84, who died at the County Home on Tuesday, May 29, following six months of illness due to the infirmities of old age, were held at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart church in Littleport on Friday, June 01. The Rev. Father McEnany officiated. Burial was in the Union cemetery at Littleport.
George White was the son of Lewin and Mary White and was born at Littleport. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were: J. P. Zapf, H. H. Liddy, Clem Whittle, Wm. Dahling, Henry Dahling, Henry Dahling and Robert Dinan.
Relative from a distance who attended the funeral was a niece, Mrs. Walter Molmquist, of Chicago.
