Elkader, Ia: Funeral services for Thomas Madden, 81, who died at his home in Littleport sunday, will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic church at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning. The Rev. Father McEnany will officiate. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart cemetery.

Survivors are two sons, Sgt. Clargence Madden and Col. Cecil J. Madden, serving with the armed forces in Italy; one daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Meece, of Edgewood; two sisters, Mrs. Austin McNamara, Sioux Falls, S.D. and Mrs. Anna Roberts, Butte, Mont., and two grandchildren.
