Funeral services for Mrs. Anna McCann Shadle, 66, of Chicago, who died at the McGregor hospital after a short illness, were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William (Delores) Deyo at Marquette. Burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery, McGregor.

Mrs. Shadle was born Dec. 27, 1878, in White-Hill, Wis., and resided in Chicago most of her life. She was visiting at the home of her daughter when taken ill.

Surviving are her husband, Bird Shadle, Chicago, one daughter, Mrs. Deyo, two sons, Archie Shadle, Chicago; and Richard Shadle, Omaha, Neb., two sisters, Mrs. Walter Ernst, Arlington; Mrs. Walter Roys, Wadena, one brother Hadw_m McCann, Chicago Heights, Ill., and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Shadle was a Volga resident some years ago.
