Mrs. Mary Gertrude Eull died the family home in this city Thursday, December 25, 1907, after several months illness.

She was born at Weisbach, Prussia, February 13, 1836 and came to America in 1856. Married Simon Eull at Dubuque in 1857, they came to McGregor in 1865, the husband preceded her in death ten years ago.

The union was blessed with nine children, seven of whom are living. The children remaining are Mrs. Katharine Brown, of Fort Dodge, Miss Marie Eull, of Chicago, Mrs. Lena Sandusky, of New Hampton, Mrs. Josephine Richards, of North McGregor, Peter, Joe and Mrs. DeLapp at home.

The sympathy of all is extended to these who mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother, whose last years have been so kindly ministered unto by them all.

The funeral was held at the home on Saturday afternoon, Rev. W.E. Mann officiating and the remains were laid to rest in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
