Clayton County Register, 08 Mar. 1945.

The infanf daughter born Monday to Mr. and Mrs. John Pope died at birth. Besides the parents, one sister, Jane Ann and two brothers, John and James, survive. Brief funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Frank Oldfather home, with burial in Hill Crest cemetery, Volga. The Rev. Russell P. Nelson, Presbyterian pastor, was in charge of the service.
