Walter Lorenz Falck, 54, died Thursday at University hospital, Iowa City, where he had been the past three weeks.

Son of Lorenz and Anna Falck, he was born Jan. 18, 1891, in Fayette county. On Feb. 02, 1916, he was married to Lena Pagel. They farmed, and for the past two and one-half years they have lived in Strawberry Point. He served three years as director of Lamont consolidated school, and two years as a member of Lutheran church board.

Survivors are the widow; a son Wayne of Oelwein; a daughter, Mrs. Lester Russell of Rock Fallls, Ill., three brothers, Charles and Theodore of Lamont and Leon of Cresco; three sisters, Margaret and Sopsia of Strawberry Point and Mrs. Fred Linderwell of Lamont; one half-brother, Will Falck of Oelwein; two half-sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Falck of Davenport, and Mrs. Will Haines in Tennessee.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Emanuels Lutheran church.
