Funeral services for Robert Bushkofsky, 73, who died at his home near Littleport Monday afternoon, will be held from the Witt funeral chapel here at 1:30 Thursday afternoon to the Friedens Evangelical and Reformed church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Paul Kitterer will officiate. Burial will be in the East Side cemetery.

Funeral services for Robert Bushkofsky, 73, who died at the home of his sons Otto and Albert on Monday, Feb. 19, following a stroke suffered a few days previous, were held at the Witt funeral chapel at 1:30 o'clock on Thursday, Feb. 22, and from Friedens Evangelical and Reformed church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.
Robert Bushkofsky was born in Germany on April 27, 1871, the son of Martin Bushkofsky and Henriette nee Rodatz. He came to America in 1880 with his parents when nine years of age. They settled near Elkport, in which vicinity he has since lived. He received his education in the rural schools and was confirmed at Elkport. He was a member of the Friedens Evangelical and Reformed church at Elkader.
In the year 1900 at Elkport, he was married to Miss Sophia Musfeldt, who preceded him in death on Jan. 13, 1936.
Surviving are three sons, Otto, Albert and Arnold, all of Elkader; one daughter, Alma, now Mrs. Ralph Sargent of Waucoma; one sister, Martha, of Des Moines, and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Roy Klink, Milton Klink, Otto Schmeltzer, Carl Dahling, John Wiley and Willis Polkow.
