Clayton County Register, 01 Mar. 1945.

Burial services were held Sunday at Hill Crest cemetery for Herman Thiese of Elkader who died last week. His wife, the former Dora Volquardtz, survives with the family.

CORRECTION.
Three brothers and one sister preceded Herman Thiese in death instead of three sisters and one brother, and he was married in the year 1910, instead of 1940 as stated in the paper last week.
