STRAWBERRY POINT: Carl Albert Fredrick Schuchmann, 75, died at his home here Thursday. He was the son of George and Anna Schuchmann, born May 11, 1869 in Sperry Township, Clayton County, Iowa.
On Nov. 23, 1893 he was married here to Paulina Fliehler. They farmed in the St. Sebald neighborhood until retiring to Strawberry Point in 1918. Survivors include the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Mike Schmidt and Cordelia of Strawberry Point, Mrs. Roy Nicollet of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Adolph and Paul of Strawberry Point; 10 grandchildren, a brother Martin Schuchmann of Oelwein and two sisters Anna Schuchmann of Oelwein and Mrs. Lena McDuffee, Dalton, Wis.
Funeral Saturday at Emanuel Lutheran church. Burial here.
