HULVERSON, HALVERSON

Clayton County Register, 16 Nov. 1944.

Cpl. Theo. G. Halverson [sic], 35, died suddenly at Vancouver, Wash., Sunday, according to word received from the War department Monday morning by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Halverson of St. Olaf. No detailed information as to the cause of his death had been received up to this morning. The body will arrive at Monona Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the funeral will be held at the Norway church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon with the Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiating.

Corporal Halverson had been in service a little over two years. He was wardmaster in the medical department of the Barnes General hospital at Vancouver, Wash.
