Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Congregational church for Mrs. Alfred Moyle, 61, who died at her home here Wednesday morning. Although she had not been well for several years, her death was sudden. The Rev. E. H. Shuey officiated at the service and burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery. Music at the service was furnished by Mrs. W. H. Martin and Frank Sloane at the organ. Pall-bearers were A. C. Vick, August Kranert, Walter Pesche, Frank O'Brien, T. M. Hogan and L. J. Denning.
Mrs. Moyle was born on a farm near McGregor, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Haltmeyer, June 17, 1883. In 1900 she was married to Henry Drallmeyer [sic]. She was married again on October 08, 1938, to Alfred Moyle of Scales Mound, Ill. They lived there a year and then returned to McGregor where they bought a home.
She is survived by her husband; four children, Mrs. Ervin Drahn of Monona, Mrs. Ruby Fields of McGregor, Mrs. John Gilmore of Des Moines, Carleton Drallmeier of Minneapolis; a sister, Mrs. William Lindeman of Dubuque, and a half-sister, Mrs. Flora Dehn of Miami, Florida. One son, Victor Drallmeier, died in 1922.
