STRAWBERRY POINT: Mrs. John Miller, 57, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Harold Childers. Ilo Sarah Belle Payne, daughter of Elsworth and Alice Payne, was born Jan. 31, 1887 at Mt. Carroll, Ill. In 1908 she was married at Aredale, Iowa, to John Miller. Survivors are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Harold Childers of Strawberry Point and Mrs. Harold Allgier of Hill City, S.D., three sisters, Mrs. William Phillips of Des Moines; Mrs. Ray Van Dorston, Cameron, Wis.; Mrs. Charles Peterson of Albert Lea, Minn., five brothers, Louis Payne of Cass. Mo.; Thomas Payne of Blue Earth, Minn.; John Payne St. Paul, Minn.; Ellsworth Payne, of Red River, Minn.; Lester Payne of Des Moines; also seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Gill Funeral Chapel. Rev. R. Park Anderson, Methodist pastor conducted the services and burial was in the local cemetery.
