Mrs. Katherine Tracy, 88, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Follon. She had not been well for some time past and a few weeks ago suffered a fall at the home of her daughter, where she had been cared for the past two years.

As Katherine O'Brien, she was born Dec. 13, 1855, at Savannah, Ga. She was married on Jan. 22, 1877, to James Tracy, who preceded in death April 26, 1924.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. John Follon of Volga City; two sons, John and Chester Tracy, both of Strawberry Point; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Gill funeral chapel at Strawberry Point, with burial in the cemetery at Strawberry Point. The Rev. D. V. Butler, local Methodist minister, had charge of the last rites.
