STRAWBERRY POINT: Mrs. Irene C. Witherall, 79, died Thursday at an Independence hospital.

Irene C. Deyo, daughter of Hiram and Bertha Deyo, was born near Strawberry Point, June 27, 1864. On Oct. 19, 1881, she was married to Lewis Huntington. He died Nov. 03, 1926. After a few years she was married to Delbert Witherall, who died several years ago.

Survivors are five children, Elmer Huntington of Mt. View, Mo., Charles of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. John Irwin in California, Mrs. Bessie Stephens in Washington, and Bert of Strawberry Point.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Sevillo Deyo of LaCrosse, Wis., Homer and Archie of Fritzgerald, Ga., and Governor Deyo in California. A son John died in 1919.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church here, in charge of the Rev. Park Anderson. Casket bearers were S. F. Schoentag, M. G. Arnold, John Tracy, Ernest Moser, Frank Way and Henry Moser. Music was furnished by Mrs. Adolph Schuchmann and Donna Rose Gundacker, accompanied by Mrs. Lloyd Kramer. Burial was here.
