MCGREGOR: Funeral services were held last Monday for Mrs. Emma Dornbach, who died here after a brief illness on the previous Saturday. The services in the Pilkington funeral home were conducted by the Rev. E. H. Shuey, with burial in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Dornbach was born May 29, 1864, in McGregor, as Emma Werder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Werder. With the exception of two winters spent in Chattanooga, Tenn., Mrs. Dornbach lived her entire life in McGregor and in homes within the same block. she married Frank Dornbach, a McGregor grocer for over 50 years. Mr. Dornbach died in December, 1942, three years after the observance of their golden wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Dornbach is survived by one son, William, of San Mateo, Calif., and her sister, Mrs. J. G. McCallum of Chattanooga, Tenn. Her younger son, a World War I veteran, preceded her in death eight years ago. His widow, Mrs. Frank Dornbach, is employed in Fort Wayne, Ind.
