Funeral services for Thomas Kilfoil, 82, who died Monday night, were held from the Witt funeral chapel at 9:30 this morning and at St. Joseph's church at 10 o'clock, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Taken officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Funeral services for Thomas Kilfoil, 82, who died here Monday morning, March 13, after a lingering illness was held from the Witt Funeral chapel Thursday morning March 16 at 9:30 o'clock and at St. Joseph's church at 10 o'clock. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. P. Taken officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery.
Thomas Kilfoil was born July 01, 1861, in Read township, the son of Thomas and Kate (Moore) Kilfoil. He lived in Clayton county practically all his life. He served as city marshall for 20 years before retiring three years ago because of ill health.
His parents and three brothers preceded him in death. He is survived by a nephew, Thomas H. Kilfoil of Mason City.
Pall bearers were: L. D. Smith, Albert Geno, E. F. Seifert, John Hamas, Harry Kelleher and George Cassidy. Honorary pallbearers were W. W. Davidson and P. V. Dougherty.
