St. John's Lutheran church at Luana, Iowa, was the setting, Aug. 23, for the marriage of Miss Ginger Drahn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvie Drahn, of Luana, and Delbert Sukow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sukow, of Postville. The Rev. L. W. Reuther officiated. Mrs. John Cole of Madison, Wis., a cousin of the bride, was matron of honor, and Miss Karen Mohs of Waterloo, a cousin of the groom, and Mrs. George Balekos Jr., aunt of the bride, served as bridesmaids. David Mohs of Postville, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer, and carried the rings on a white satin pillow trimmed with chantilly lace, made by the bride's grandmather, Mrs. George Balekos Sr., of Monona. Duane Suckow, Air Force Base, Gila Bend, Arizona, served his brother as best man, and Willis Suckow, Cedar Rapids, brother of the groom, and George Balekos Jr., of Monona, uncle of the bride, were groomsmen. Ushers were Elvie Gilster of Monona, cousin of the bride, and Keith Mohs, Luana, cousin of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of the Luana high school and has been employed at the Luana Savings bank. Mr. Suckow is engaged in farming with his father.
