At St. Patrick's church in Monona, Aug. 26, Miss Joyce Reardon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Reardon of Monona, became the bride of Cyril Bernard Eilers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Serenus Eilers of McGregor. Rev. Luke Donlon officiated. Miss Carol Marie Reardon, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Miss Clothilda Eilers of McGregor, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. Mary Jane Reardon, sister of the bride, was flower girl, and Eugene Schmelzer of Garnavillo, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer. Kenneth Eilers of McGregor, served his brother as best man. and Donald Lestina of McGregor, cousin of the bride, was groomsman. Ushers were Laverne Eilers, brother of the groom, and Wayne Lestina, cousin of the bride.

At the reception Mrs. Vernon Kolbe, aunt of the bride, cut the cake, and Miss Kathleen Eilers of Dyersville, cousin of the groom, and Mrs. Eugene Schmelzer Sr. Poured. An assistant was Donna Eilers. Miss Mary Eilers, sister of the groom, had charge of the guest book.

The bride is a graduate of the Monona high school. Mr. Eilers is engaged in farming near National, Iowa, where the new home will be made.
