MONONA: St. Patrick's church was the scene, Saturday, June 08, for the marriage of Carol Reardon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Reardon of Monona, and Francis Schoulte, son of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Schoulte of McGregor. The Rev. John Peters officiated. Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Mrs. Cyril Eilers, and Miss Carolyn Schoulte of Chicago, sister of the groom, and Miss Jacqueline Baade of West Union, a friend of the bride, were bridesmaids. Mary Jane Reardon of Monona, sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Debbie Twombly of Postville, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Ring bearer was Billy Huckstadt of Fayette, a cousin of the bride. Mike Carroll of McGregor, cousin of the groom, served as best man, and groomsmen were Pat Carroll, McGregor, cousin of the groom, and Tom Reardon of Monona, the bride's brother. Ushers were Cyril Eilers of McGregor, the bride's brother-in-law, and Cliff Szafranski of Chicago, Ill.
Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Monona-Farmersburg Community school. The bride has been employed at the Fox pharmacy in Monona. The groom is engaged in farming. The new home will be made on a farm near Garnavillo.
