Taylor - Knoke marriage - 1941

Aug. 01st, in the Evangelical and Reformed church, Rev. P. Kitterer joined in marriage Miss Helen Knoke of this city, and Mr. Charles Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Taylor of Spooner, Wis. The bride's attendant was Mrs. Avron Oleson, and the groom's attendant was Mr. Avron Oleson. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. Harold Knoke.

The bride is a graduate of the Elkader public school with the class of 1936 and for the past several years has been employed as stenographer for the firm of Sharp and Roggensack. Mr. Taylor is a graduate of the Spooner high school and attended the University at Madison, Wis. He is employed by the Great Western railroad at St. Charles, Ill., where the future home will be made.
