Koth - Weiss marriage - 1941

GARNAVILLO: A simple ceremony marked the marriage of Hildegard Weiss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Weiss, to Foster Koth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Koth of Postville. The Rev. Alexander Meyer officiated at St. Paul's Lutheran church Tuesday, July 08th. Ushers were Ray Koth, brother of the groom, and Marvin Kurdelmeier of St. Olaf, a cousin of the bride. Best man was Herbert Weiss, twin brother of the bride, and maid of honor was Margaret Koth, a cousin of the groom. Bridesmaids were Ivanelle Kurdelmeier, a cousin of the bride, and Ruth Rowland.

The bride was graduated from the local high school this year and the groom attended school in Monona. He has been employed on the Clarence Leitgen farm, where the new couple will reside after a wedding trip to Wisconsin.
