STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Leta Pauline Schuchmann of Strawberry Point and Theophilus Judt of Dubuque, son of Rev. and Mrs. John Judt of Waldersee, Manitoba, Canada, were married Thursday at the Emanuel's Lutheran church. The pastor, Rev. Lawrence A. Stumme, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Herman Diemer of Sumner, uncle of the groom. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Theodore Schuchmann. Processional and recessional music was played by Mrs. Theodore Schuchmann. Miss Amanda Schuchmann, sister of the bride, of Eugene, Oregon, acted as maid of honor and Miss Gertrude Judt, sister of the groom, of Waldersee, Manitoba, Canada, and Miss Cordelia Schuchmann, cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. Mr. Judt's best man was his cousin, Gerhart Diemer of Sumner. Marvin Schuchmann, brother of the bride, and Max Diemer of Sumner, were ushers.
The bride was graduated from the local public school in 1932 and has been clerking in the Service Store the past few years. Mr. Judt attended the Luther college at Regina, Sask., Canada, Wartburg College at Waverly and on Tuesday was graduated from Wartburg Seminary at Dubuque.
After a motor trip to Canada the new couple will establish their home at Krem, N.Dak., where the groom will have charge of the Lutheran church.
