Miss Gertrude Erbe and Martin Bush were married at the Giard Methodist parsonage May 29th by Rev. W. R. Ehlert, and left immediately after the ceremony by car for Jacksonville, Florida, where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Bush are both well known in this community as Mrs. Bush lived on a farm near town and attended and graduated from McGregor high school, later teaching several years in the town school and Mr. Bush managed the Standard Oil station a number of years.
Mrs. Bush is a graduate of the State Teacher's College at Cedar Falls. After teaching in McGregor she accepted a position in the school at Reinbeck, where she has been head of the Normal Training department for the past thirteen years. Mr. Bush will manage an oil station at Jacksonville.
