Meese - Purvis marriage - 1941

MEESE, PURVIS, RUEGNITZ

LITTLEPORT: Miss Frances Purvis daughter of Mrs. Agnes Purvis and Virgil Meese, only son of Mrs. Elizabeth Meese, were united in marriage Wednesday, May 28th, by the Rev. J. J. Olinger at the parsonage in Garber. The attendants were Miss Marian Purvis, sister of the bride, and Kenneth Ruegnitz, brother-in-law of the groom.

The bride was graduated from Littleport high school in 1931 and has been making her home with her mother. The groom was graduated in the class of 1927 at Littleport high school and then entered into employment at Brick's grocery store. For the last four years he has been manager of the Community Savings Bank in Littleport.

They will return from their trip Saturday and will make their home at the Meese residence.
