STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Lauretta Emma Stapel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Stapel of Strawberry Point and Robert C. Falck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Falck of Lamont, were married at the Emanuel's Lutheran church, last Tuesday, the Rev. Lawrence A. Stumme officiating. Miss Lorraine Stapel, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Allen Falck, brother of the groom, was best man. Wayne Falck, a cousin of the groom, and Alfred Kamoss were ushers. Jimmie Falck, a cousin of the groom, carried the rings, and Yvonne Reasland, niece of the bride, of Wadena, was flower girl.
The bride attended the Hawkeye school. The groom graduated from Lamont consolidated school in 1936, and since that time has been engaged in farming with his father.
The home will be made with the groom's parents until the new home, which is being built on his father's farm, is ready for occupancy.
