MONONA: Miss Coletta Bentien, the only daughter of Mrs. Ida Bentien, and Gordon V. Wells, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noble Wells of Marquette, were married Saturday, in the Lutheran church by the Rev. H. W. Siefkes. Miss Mary Sanger, an intimate friend of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Charles Fick, the bride's cousin, was best man.
A three-course wedding dinner was served at the bride's home, Mrs. Gilbert Rose, cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Otto Pape were the cooks.
Mrs. Wells graduated from the local high school in 1934 and from Cedar Falls college in 1937. For the past four years she has taught in the Luana schools. Her husband graduated from the Marquette high school in 1934 and spent four years in the Navy, stationed at San Pedro, Calif. He will soon complete his course at the aircraft industries school in Omaha, Nebr.
Mr. and Mrs. Wells left on the Cedar Rapids fast train Saturday evening for Omaha.
