Meyer - Wehrkamp marriage - 1948

At a simple church ceremony on the afternoon of June 10 in the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Garnavillo, Iowa, Miss Darlene Wehrkamp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman J. Wehrkamp, was married to Carroll J. Meyer, son of Mrs. Milda Meyer of Elkader. The ceremony was performed by Rev. K. Landgrebe. The groom's brother, John Meyer, served as best man.

Mr. and Mrs. Meyer left for Boise, Idaho, where mister Meyer will teach piano in summer school in the college there beginning June 14.
