Klosterboer - Walter marriage - 1948

KLOSTERBOER, WALTER, MUELLER, SCHMIDT

Florene Ellen Walter, daughter of Mrs. Clara Walter of Farmersburg, and Edward J. Klosterboer, son of Mrs. Effie Klosterboer of Grundy Center, were married May 23 at the St. John's Lutheran church at Farmersburg. The Rev. R. H. Steege of Farmersburg and the Rev. John Klosterboer of Reading, Minn., uncle of the groom, performed the ceremony. Mrs. Victor Walter of Postville, sister-in-law of the bride, sang several selections. The matron of honor, the sister of the bride, was Mrs. M. J. Mueller of Elkader. Mr. Klosterboer was attended by his brother, Harlan Klosterman of Grundy Center, and LeRoy Schmidt of Waukon, brother-in-law of the bride.

Mrs. Klosterboer has been deputy county recorder of Clayton county at Elkader and Mr. Klosterboer is county recorder of Grundy county at Grundy Center, where the new couple will make their home.
