Myrna Jeane Donnan, daughter of Mrs. Grace Donnan of Guttenberg, became the bride of Floyd Eberhardt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Eberhardt of Elkader, Monday, May 17, at the Zion Lutheran church at Clayton Center. The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen, pastor, officiated, assisted by the Rev. J. F. Eshbaugh, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran church of Guttenberg. Lois Jeane Fette, age six, niece of the groom, acted as flower girl, and Kenneth Reimer, also age six and a nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer. LaVern Eberhardt served his brother as best man. Ushers were LeRoy Eberhardt, Elkader, brother of the groom, and Ernie Wilke of Farnsworth, Texas, brother-in-law of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of the Guttenberg high school and the Rockford School of Beauty Culture, Rockford, Ill. Following her graduation she was employed at the State beauty shop in Rockford. For the past eight months she has been employed at the Fassbinder Feed and Implement company in Elkader. Her husband is a graduate of Elkader high school and is now employed at the Fassbinder Feed and Implement company in Elkader.
The new couple will make their home with the groom's parents until March, when they will start farming on the Henry Miller farm five miles out of Elkader on highway 13.
