Webber - Knoke marriage - 1946

WEBBER, KNOKE

Miss Ivanell Ann Knoke, daughter of Mrs. Ella Knoke of Elkader, and Melvin Webber, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Webber of Garber, were married at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church Sunday, Feb. 24 1946. The Rev. Paul Kitterer, pastor, officiated. Miss Marion Knoke, sister of the bride, and Walter Webber, brother of the groom were the attendants.

The bride is a graduate of the Elkader high school and the Elkader Junior college and attended Elmhurst college, Elmhurst, Ill. The groom is a graduate of the Elkport high school. He served with the United States Army in this country and in the European theatre and received a Medical discharge. He is now employed with the Costigan Construction company.

The new couple will make their home in Elkader for the present.
