GARNAVILLO: In St. Peter's Lutheran church, Saturday, Dec. 02, Miss Kathleen Kregel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kregel, became the bride of Lowell W. Swanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter F. Swanson of Dayton, Iowa. Pastor G. P. Reiff officiated. Mrs. Byron Young and Miss Eunice Kregel, sisters of the bride, were matron of honor and bridesmaid, respectively. Gordon Swanson served his brother as best man. Ushers were Vern Swanson, a brother of the groom, and Norris Kuenzel, a cousin of the bride.

Mrs. Swanson is a graduate of the Garnavillo high school and Coe college and has taught vocal music at Conrad and Story City, and at present is teaching at Dayton. Mr. Swanson is a graduate of the Dayton high school and is currently employed at the Dayton dairy.

After a short trip, Mr. and Mrs. Swanson will be at home ay Dayton, Iowa.
