McTaggart - Shea marriage - 1950

MCTAGGART, SHEA

In a pretty wedding ceremony performed Tuesday, Miss Mary Lou Shea, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Shea, Sr., became the bride of Leon McTaggart, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. McTaggart, at Sacred Heart church. Rev. Robert J. Spahn officiated. Bridesmaid was Miss Mary McTaggart, the groom's sister. Ushers were: Daniel Shea and Dennis McTaggart, brothers of the bride and groom respectively. Acolytes at the nuptial mass after the ceremony were Wenceslaus Shea, the bride's brother, and Patrick Minihan.

The young couple left on a motor trip to South Dakota. They will establish their home on the Leo Little farm south of town in the near future.
