Miss Elvera Marmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Marmann of Elkader, became the bride of John Palas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luver Palas of St. Olaf at 1 p.m., Nov. 06 at the parsonage of the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church in Elkader. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Attendants were Miss Geneva Marmann, sister of the bride, and Leo Klinkenberg, a friend of the groom.

The new couple will be at home at the groom's parents' farm near St. Olaf.
