Ferne Mary Oelke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester E. Oelke, became the bride of Lloyd E. Lenth, Wednesday, June 17, in St. John's Lutheran church of Farmersburg. The Rev. H. M. Adix performed the ceremony. Ilo Mae Oelke, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Wilbert Lenth, cousin of the groom served as best man. Ushers were Miss Glenda Schievelbein, cousin of the bride, and Bernida Lenth, sister of the groom. Gaylord D. Oelke, cousin of the bride, served as train bearer.
The bride is a graduate of the Farmersburg high school and attended college for two years at Wartburg in Waverly, after which she taught school one year in Grand Meadow township and one year in the public school in St. Olaf.
The couple will make their home on the Gust Lenth farm 4 miles west of Farmersburg.
