Pahl - Lee marriage - 1942

STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Carol Lee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lee of Strawberry Point, and Louis Pahl, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Pahl of Independence, were united in marriage, Sunday, June 14, at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. Vernon Benson officiated. Attendants were Miss Fern Lee of Omaha, Nebr., sister of the bride, and Pahl Weiss of Independence nephew of the groom.

Mrs. Pahl graduated from the Strawberry Point high school in the year 1930 and has taught the rural schools of this community for the past eleven years. Mr. Pahl was graduated in 1926 from the Tipton, Iowa, high school.

The new couple will make their home on a farm near Independence.
