Irwin - Murphy marriage - 1944

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence F. Murphy of Elkader announce the marriage of their daughter, Kathleen, to Ensign Bruce James Irwin, son of Mrs. Martin Dahm of Spencer. The ceremony took place on Monday, Jan. 17, in Elkader. Rt. Rev. Msgr. James P. Taken officiated. The bride was attended by her sister, Lorna, and the groom was attended by his uncle, William Irwin, of St. Paul.

The wedding was attended by James Irwin and Earl Erwin of Sac City, Mr. and Mrs. Don McKnight of Ida Grove, Dr. H. H. Kleinpell of Prairie du Chien, Wis., Miss Frieda Kleinpell of Cassville, Wis. and the bride's family.
