Russell James SWEENEY, the son of Adeline Francis (SCOTT) and James Augustus SWEENEY, was born near Caldonia, Iowa, on October 18, 1924. An auto mechanic for most of his life, Russell operated the Sweeney-Butler Repair Shop with his brother-in-law. Marilyn Marjorie "Marj" (BUTLER) SWEENEY, the only daughter of Levantia and Floyd BUTLER, was born at Benton, Iowa on December 14, 1927, and died at the Ringgold County Hospital September 17, 1979. Russell died at the Ringgold County Hospital March 17, 2003. Russell and Marj were interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.
