Gladys grew up in rural Delphos, Iowa, and graduated from Delphos High School. She moved to Edmonds, Washington where she met and married
Roy ROSE. The ROSE family resided in Edmonds, a suburb of Seattle. Their youngest son Gary continues to reside in the ROSE home.
